City Club Featured in the Tennessean Last Week!!

“Views, vibe put Nashville City Club high above the rest”

“With renowned chef Toby Willis, the club crafts an enticing variety of dishes in a style that McClain calls “elevated Southern cuisine.”

Hors d’oeuvres include smoked salmon lollipop, chive-mascarpone and buttermilk biscuits with a choice of bourbon and brown sugar-glazed ham, pulled pork, pork tenderloin, buttermilk-fried chicken or fried green tomato.

Entrees feature Abita Root Beer-braised short rib accompanied by Weisenberger Mills creamy grits with goat cheese and fried collards; and shrimp and grits with Georgia white shrimp, bell pepper, sweet onion, tasso gravy and Weisenberger Mills stone-ground cheddar grits.

The Frantzes served a more basic duo of filet mignon and stuffed chicken breast with roasted asparagus and garlic mashed potatoes, but it was no less salivating: “We ended up having one of the best meals I have ever had in my life,” Frantz says. “It was absolutely divine.””
